Large Time Attack Splitter Diffusers
Designed and validated in CFD to create maximum downforce, our Large Time Attack Splitter Diffusers will turn your flat splitter into a true high-efficiency front aerodynamic element.
With a large plan area of 3.25 square feet (for the pair) and a mean ramp angle of only 7° our diffusers are designed to maintain attached flow with minimal turbulence and low drag. Additionally, the curved trailing edges create downstream vortices, keeping the flow exiting your diffusers well energized. This seals off the low pressure area under your vehicle & helps make the most of a flat floor or rear diffuser.
Constructed of strong & lightweight, laser-cut 5052 aircraft aluminum, these diffusers are more rigid than competitive abs or polyethylene models and more affordable/impact resistant than carbon fiber. Available in raw aluminum or two tough, black powder coated finishes, they’ll make an attractive (and highly functional) addition to your DIY aero kit.
And if you are running a wider “hammerhead” style splitter, you may want to pair them with our Dual Vortex Splitter Endplates https://www.yetiracecraft.com/store/p/dual-vortex-endplates-v2, Aero splitter skid blocks https://www.yetiracecraft.com/store/p/aero-skid-blocks and Radiused Fender Vents https://www.yetiracecraft.com/store/p/style-01-ltnse for even more functionality & performance gains!
Note: These diffusers WILL create significant downforce gains and we recommend adequate structural support for the increased loading (preferably a rigid, top framing system or proper, load bearing frame mounts and rods) along with quick release brackets for safety, ease of use/trailering and maximal gains. See the attached photos for some design ideas, or feel free to reach out to us for a consultation on how best to add these diffusers to your splitter.
